Glenn E. Miller, 102, of Myerstown, PA, died on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the widower of Betty J. (Andrews) Miller, who died in 2008.
Born in Flintville, PA, on Feb. 8, 1924, Glenn was a son of the late Paul P. and Ellen Mae (Bowman) Miller. Mr. Miller served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. He retired after 30 years, mostly as a Rural Carrier for Myerstown USPS.
Glenn was the Mayor of Myerstown from 1989 to 1998 and Captain of Myerstown Fire Police for 50 years. He was a member of Goodwill Fire Company, Keystone Fire Company, Myerstown VFW, and American Legion.
Glenn enjoyed woodworking and was an avid Phillies fan.
He is survived by his son, Terry, husband of Cynthia Miller; grandchildren, Jody Miller, Melissa, wife of Chase Steffy, and Jeffrey, husband of Kelsey Miller; great-grandchildren, Cashus, Mayson, Charlie, Jack, Ada, and Samuel; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by eight siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., at Grose Funeral Home Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA. Viewing begins at 12:30 p.m. Interment in Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon.
