Glenn J. Adams, 60, of Jonestown, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at his home. He was the husband of Sherry L. Boyer Adams. On February 15th, they celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on July 16, 1962, he was the son of the late Herman J. and Kathryn E. Walmer Adams.

For over 30 years, Glenn has been the owner and operator of Glenn’s Towing, Inc. in Jonestown. He was an avid race car enthusiast, as an owner and driver for many years. He loved antiquing, auctions, flea markets, hunting, and yard sales. He even did the world’s longest yard sale beginning in GA. to MI three times.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers Ronald (Delores) Adams of Lancaster, Samuel Adams of Jonestown, and Robert (Debra) Adams of Grantville; sisters Margaret Miller of Annville and Cynthia M. (Scott) Gettle of Lebanon; his in-laws Joseph and Janet Boyer of Jonestown, Kathy & Jeff Sheffy of Jonestown, Dawn & Jerry Fessler of Jonestown, Joseph “JR” Boyer of Jonestown and Katie & Justin Herr of Mountville; and 34 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers James Adams, Sr., John, Herman, Kenneth, Lester, and Henry Adams, and his sisters Eleanor Peiffer and Doris Weller.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A viewing will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will follow at St. John’s United Methodist Church Cemetery, Grantville.
