Grace B. Bachman, 103, of Annville, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, at The Lebanon Valley Home, Annville. She was the wife of the late Adam H. Bachman, who died in 1986.

Born in Annville on Feb. 5, 1918, she was the daughter of the late George and Carrie Himmelberger Bixler. Grace was a 1935 Annville High School graduate, and she went on to work at New Cumberland Army Depot, retiring after 22 years.

She was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ, Annville. For 22 years, Grace volunteered at The Lebanon VA Medical Center, where she was the recipient of the Jefferson Award. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Freddy Bixler, Crystal Bixler Lonergan, Janie Shaffer Waybright, Judy Shaffer Ganse, Jimmy Shaffer, Jackie Frattaroli, Joni Jamison, Jodi Shaffer, and Julie Harder, and great-nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family, preceded in death by her sisters and brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville, PA 17003. There will be a visitation time with the family from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
