Grace E. Derr, 88, of Myerstown, died Friday, September 17, 2021, at StoneRidge Towne Centre, Myerstown.

Born in Mount Aetna, PA on May 24, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Annie (Firestine) Clay. A member of St. John’s Church, Mt. Aetna, Grace was a lifetime member of the Mt. Aetna Fire Co. She was employed as a cook at various places, including the Frystown Truck Stop, for seven years, retiring in 1995.

Grace is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Ann, wife of Curtis Behler, of Bethel; sons, Dale W. Moyer, of Duncannon, Timothy D. Derr, of Mt. Aetna; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Florence Hower, Elsie Dellinger, and Helen Mays; and brothers, Raymond, Irvin, and Stanton Clay.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 8:30 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Aetna Cemetery.
