Grace E. Zimmerman, 94, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late John E. Zimmerman, Jr.
Born in Pine Grove on April 25, 1928, she was the daughter of the late William & Sadie Daubert Buch.
Grace had worked as a cook at many area restaurants. She was a member of Mt. Zion Road Church. Grace loved to play bingo and horse racing while she was in the nursing home. She enjoyed roller derby, stock car racing at Fredericksburg, riding motorcycle with her husband, embroidery, quilting, gardening, cooking, baking, and ironing. She especially enjoyed her time with her family.
She is survived by her son John W. and his wife Sharon Zimmerman of Middletown; daughter Debra A. wife of Kenneth Yeagley of Lebanon; grandchildren Chad Yeagley, Amber Yeagley Seasholtz, and Brett Yeagley; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Justin H. Zimmerman and brothers Roy, Howard, and Guy Buch.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
