Grace K. Lausch, 89, of Myerstown, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Eugene G. Lausch of Myerstown. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this past January.

Born in Frystown on October 13, 1933, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Jennie M. (Peiffer) Batdorf.

Grace graduated from Bethel High School with the Class of 1951. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Hamlin. Grace enjoyed going to the casino, quilting, sewing, and doing all types of craftwork.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Timothy E. Lausch of Palmyra, daughters Hilda M. Schilling of Ellenton, FL, and Carol D. wife of Richard Gadd of Ono, and granddaughter Amanda (Gadd) Cappelletti of Orlando, FL.

She was preceded in death by all her siblings and son-in-law Leroy S. Shilling.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at her church, 2351 Mt. Zion Rd., Fredericksburg. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at the Hamlin Cemetery.
