It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gregory M. Hicks, who left this world on Nov. 25, 2024.
Born on Dec. 13, 1975, in Dover, NJ, Gregory lived a life filled with passion and zest, touching the hearts of all who knew him.
Gregory lived in Lebanon, PA, where he excelled as a Project Manager in the Internet Security industry. His enthusiasm for life went beyond his professional achievements; he had a profound love for music, often found playing the guitar and drums. He cherished the beauty of nature, relishing time spent on the water and hiking in the mountains. Family gatherings around a home-cooked meal brought him immense joy, as did the time spent in the company of friends.
He was a devoted father to his children, Emma Michael and Reginald Hicks. Gregory’s loving spirit will also be cherished by his mother, Joan Miller; his sister, Jennifer Gregg; and his brother-in-law, Jerry Gregg. He will be dearly missed by his nephews, Steven, Benjamin, and Justin Boepple; his niece, Michelle Boepple; and his half-brothers, David and Daniel Playfair.
He was preceded in death by his father, Byron Hicks; step-father, Richard Miller; aunt, Rose Difilippis; and uncle, Gene Difilippis.
As we prepare to honor Gregory’s memory, a graveside service will be held at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster, on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at 2 p.m.
In this time of grief, let us reflect on Gregory’s remarkable life and the indelible mark he has left on our lives through his kindness, laughter, and love. He will forever be remembered as a cherished member of our family and a true friend to many.
