Harold G. “Griff” Jones, III, 81, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at home. He was the husband of Jeannette C. (Clancey) Jones.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 18, 1937, Harold was a son of the late Harold and Catherine (Ronn) Jones. He was a graduate of Dobbins High School in Philadelphia. He retired after 42 years of service with Sperry Univac. Harold enjoyed bowling and doing remodeling work.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Ken Jones and his wife Lori, Kim Yellin and her husband Howard, Keith Jones and his wife Donna; six grandchildren, Josh, Sydney, Sammy, Allie, Sarah, and Kaden; two sisters, Lorretta Zirolli, and Marie Orehowsky, wife of Ron.

He was preceded in death a granddaughter, Tori; and a sister, Claire Toner.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 8th at Resurrection of Our Lord Parish, 2000 Shelmire Ave., Philadelphia, PA. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA. Viewing hours will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon, PA and Friday morning prior to Mass from 9:30-10:30 at the church.
