Harry W. Kapp, 89, of Jonestown, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 15, 2022. He was the husband of Patricia L. (Schimpf) Kapp. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on April 30th.
Born in Lebanon on October 3, 1932, he was the son of the late Harry C. and Mae L. Kreamer Maul.
After high school, Harry joined the Navy and was a Navy Seabee. He then retired as a Master Sgt. from the Air National Guard 201st Red Horse Squadron. Harry worked as a self-employed contractor. He was a member of the Sarasota Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He was also a member of the Palm Lutheran Church in Palmyra, the Palmyra VFW, and the Lickdale American Legion Post #910.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Vicki, wife of Jay Carpenter of Lebanon, Randy Kapp, and his partner, Lisa Hastings of Jonestown, Shari, wife of Tom O’Shea of Harrisburg, and Michael Kapp of Red Lion; brother, Robert Kapp of Palmyra; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Marion Moyer.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family, and inurnment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
