Helen E. Deitzler, 98, of Lebanon, died on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Spang Crest Manor.

She was born on Thursday, July 24, 1924, to the late John A. Crone and Elizabeth W. Crone nee Strine in Manchester, PA.

She retired as a Registered Nurse and was a lifetime member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church, a Sunday School teacher for 40+ years, and a VBS volunteer. Helen enjoyed participating in the Spang Crest activities and was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star and the Lebanon County Flower Club.

Surviving is children, Kenneth Deitzler, and spouse, Cindy, Kaye E. Focht, and spouse, Dave, and Faye Hipkiss; grandchildren, Penny LaFoe, Shane Deitzler, and spouse, Angie, and Melanie Searfoss, and spouse, Jeremy; and great-grandchildren, Morgan LaFoe, Nick LaFoe, Orion Deitzler, Zoie Deitzler, Brogan Searfoss, and Harper Searfoss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl K. Deitzler.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
