Helen Jean Mackey, 87, of Myerstown, died Sunday, September 5, 2021, at her residence. She was the wife of Freddy M. Mackey.

Born in Dover, NJ on June 2, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ted and Margaret (Ackley) Kuntz. A graduate of Fair Lawn High School, Fair Lawn, NJ, she earned her Associate in Applied Science Degree in Horticulture Technology at Haywood Technical College. She enjoyed horticulture, fishing, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Helen is survived by sons, Donald, husband of Louise Spedaliere, of North Brunswick, NJ, Michael, husband of Karen Spedaliere, of Toms River, NJ; grandchildren, Michael, Jr., husband of Carmelina, Christopher, husband of Anna, Jessica, Erica; and a great-grandson, Daniel.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
