Henry S. Killian, 91, passed away from natural causes on Jan. 18, 2026, in Myerstown, PA. Born in Cleona on Jan. 27, 1934, he was the son of Harvey and Mary Killian, nee Spayd. He was the husband of Shirley R. Killian, nee Bixler, who died on Sept. 30, 2024. They were married for 47 years.
Henry was employed as a truck driver at Interstate Dress Carriers, Myerstown, and held various other trucking roles for 26 years, retiring from Buffalo Spring Manufacturing in 2001. After retirement, he delivered lawn mowers for a time and could recall just about every place he dropped one off at. When not out in his barn making machinery repairs or tending to his lawn (with a healthy dose of chatting with the neighbors), he enjoyed sitting on the porch in his rocking chair watching the birds with his wife, or later, with his Pomeranian, Coco. He could also be found at the kitchen table watching country western music, Outdoors with the Morgans, or old documentaries on his tablet.
He will be remembered fondly and with much love by his surviving family and friends.
Henry is survived by his children, Andrea Weaber (Ronald Weaber), Henry Killian Jr. (Mary Killian), Richard Matter (Maria Matter), and Nancy Jamerson (John Jamerson); sisters, Mary Lu Hetrick and Martha Yancy (Robert Yancy); brother, Larry Killian (Carol Killian); grandchildren, Sabrina Bottomstone, Noah Weaber, Angie Hatfield, Troy Fry, Becky Strauser, Shawn Schnoke, Richard Matter Jr., Jon Jamerson Jr., and Sean Jamerson; and many great-grandchildren. His daughter, Gloria Jean Britcher, is deceased.
There will be no service for Henry per his request. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County. In his words, “Those little puppies need to eat, too!”
