Henry W. Martin, 93, passed away on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, at Spang Crest. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elva H. (Weaver) Martin.
Born in East Earl Township, PA, on April 18, 1931, he was the son of the late William Z. and Mary O. (Weaver) Martin.
Henry was a member of the Lebanon Valley Bible Church. He was a former member of Cedar Crest Young Farmers.
Surviving are three children, Eugene W. Martin, husband of Kathy, of Lebanon, Gerald W. Martin, husband of Joan, of Lebanon, and Carol Ann Zell, wife of Ken, of Lebanon; eight siblings, Ivan Martin, husband of Alma, of Millersburg, Clarence Martin, husband of Bernice, of Martindale, James Martin, husband of Kathy, of Terre Hill, Titus Martin, husband of Sandy, of Kleinfeltersville, David Martin, of Ephrata, Mary Martin, of Akron, Martha Musser, wife of Eugene, of Lititz, and Mabel High, wife of Melvin, of Savannah, NY; five grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Henry was preceded in death by his grandson, Nathan Martin; great-grandson, Thomas James Sensenig; son-in-law, James L. Sensenig; and six siblings, Paul Martin, William Martin, Harvey Martin, John Martin, Anna Wenger, and Edna Nolt.
A public viewing will be held on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, from 6-8 p.m., at the Lebanon Valley Bible Church, 1482 Horseshoe Pike, Lebanon, PA 17042. An additional public viewing will be held on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, from 10-11 a.m., at the Church. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday. Interment will be held in Gingrich Mennonite Cemetery.
