Hervy S. Gibson, 71, of Lebanon died Sunday, October 3, 2021, in his residence. He was the husband of Fern L. Dove Moyer Gibson.

Born in Lebanon on January 9, 1950, he was the son of the late Melvin L. and Ethel M. Morris Gibson. He was employed as a printer and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons Seth husband of Heather Gibson, Josh Gibson, and Steven Gibson and his companion Terril; daughters Jamel wife of Donald Bortner, and Adrianna Norris; stepson Brian Moyer and companion Tabbi; stepdaughters Tammy wife of Nelson Hearn, and Dawn Justiano; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers; and five sisters. He was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, five brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
