Irene J. “Reenie” Hoover, 97, of Linden Village, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021. She was the wife of the late Lloyd J. Hoover.

Born in Green Point on June 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Lydia Rhen Kreiser.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Lickdale, the N.L. Senior Citizens, the Lebanon Senior Citizens, and the Lickdale Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Reenie enjoyed crocheting, quilting, baking, and camping. She and her husband were also avid bowlers. She especially enjoyed going on bus trips with the NL Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her nieces, Betty Kreiser, of Lebanon, and Bonita Martel, of Lebanon; and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd E. Kreiser, and her sisters, Violet M. Demmy and Alverta Kreiser.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, N. Annville Twp.
