Irene M. Gattone, 82, of Annville, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, at Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Gary D. Gattone, who died on April 29, 2023.
Born in Waverly, NY, on July 9, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Elsie (Munn) Cole.
Irene graduated from Athens High School with the Class of 1960. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed reading, putting together puzzles, and, most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, David, husband of Candace Gattone, of Annville, and Kevin, husband of Lillian Gattone, of New Ringgold; grandchildren, Cody Gattone, Ariana, wife of Kyle Johnstone, and Dominic, husband of Gabriela Gattone; brothers, Dale and Donald Cole; and sisters, Eleanor Wojcinski, Alberta Lindsey, Shirley Franklin, and Judy Simpson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at the God’s Missionary Church, 2127 Hill St., Lebanon. There will be a viewing at 9:30 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will follow at Wenger’s Cemetery, Jonestown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her church.
