Isaac “Ike” W. Tyson, 82, of Palmyra, formerly of Mill Hall, PA, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Hershey Medical Center. Born Sunday, July 2, 1939, in Mastersonville, PA, he was the son of the late Aaron and Esther (Sangrey) Tyson. He was married 61 years to Shirley (Koser) Tyson.

He was a member of Mount Bethel UCC Church in Mill Hall. A truck driver, Ike was employed for over 30 years with Yellow Freight. After retirement, he was a milk hauler for Dotterer & Son Dairy. He was a member of Lodge #43 F&AM, Lancaster. Ike enjoyed hunting and was a fan of the Phillies and Pirates.

In addition to his wife, Ike is survived by three sisters: Josine Brubaker, Lois Neuswanger and Susan Corey; and three brothers: James, Timothy and Warren Tyson. He was predeceased by two sisters: Jeanette Ebersole and Edna Brubaker.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at a later date.
