Jack T. Plasterer, 83, of Lebanon passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at his residence. He was the husband of Linda L. (Whitman) Plasterer. They had just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on August 31st.
Born in Cleona on November 2, 1937, he was the son of the late Harry V. and Maggie I. (Tice) Plasterer. Jack graduated from Lebanon High School with the Class of 1955. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Navy during peace times. Jack worked for Lebanon Offset Printing for 35 years and then Tursack Printing for six years. He was a member of R. Field & Stream, and he enjoyed hunting, attending races, traveling, navy reunions, and going to Camp Lebo.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Allyson Jo Plasterer, of Lancaster, Rachyl L. Plasterer, of Lebanon, and Michael H. husband of Kelli Plasterer, of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren Seth Plasterer, Cody Plasterer, Lynn Collins, and Emma Plasterer; brother Larry Plasterer, of Lancaster; sisters Mary McCurdy, of Lancaster and Janet Henning, of Cleona; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Harold and Malcom Plasterer, and sisters Nancy Hummel and Ruth Clemens.
Viewings will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 1:30-4:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 12:30-1:30 p.m., both at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. Burial with military honors will follow the viewing on Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
