Jacob Milton “Milt” Huber, 86, of Annville, passed away on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023, at The Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Bomgardner) Huber, with whom he celebrated 53 years of marriage.
Milt was born in Lancaster County on March 12, 1937, to the late Milton G. and Elva (Frankhouser) Huber.
He served in the U.S. Army after the Korean War and retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He enjoyed listening to gospel music, especially the Blackwood Brothers. He also enjoyed volunteering at The Lebanon VA Medical Center, visiting with the veterans and chaplains. He loved and was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is his children, Scott A. Huber (Judy) and Nancy Leigh Zeiders (Harry); five grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, Harrison, and Graham; a great-granddaughter, Anna; and his siblings, Dale Huber, Mary Ellen Hadaway, and Norene Huber-Lantz (Nevin).
He was preceded in death by his sister, Elva Jean Kreider.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
