Jacqueline P. “Jackie” Reist, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, at the age of 93.
Born on Dec. 23, 1932, to the late William Wise and Pauline in Lebanon, PA, Jacqueline dedicated her life to her family and her faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jacqueline was a proud member of Rocherty United Methodist Church, where she served as a pianist and organist for an incredible 65 years. Her musical talents enriched the lives of countless congregants, and she was an active participant in church socials and activities, fostering community and connection among members.
In addition to her musical contributions, Jacqueline loved the great outdoors. She enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, and watching softball and basketball with fervor. Her family cherished the memorable times spent together at the beach, where her laughter and joy will forever resonate in the hearts of her loved ones.
Jacqueline is survived by her daughters, Judith Wilkinson and Darlene Mindler (Carl); grandchildren, Cameron Wilkinson (Amy), Nathan Wilkinson (Melissa), Katelynn Levell (William), and Helene Pletz (Anthony); great-grandchildren, Cora, Sawyer, Carson, and Cyan; and brothers, Jim and Harvey Wise.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren K. Reist; son, Gary Reist; and sisters, Cathern Smith and Laverna Schwab.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Rocherty United Methodist Church from 11-12 p.m., followed by services at 12 p.m. Graveside services will be at Iona Cemetery following church services.
