James B. Collins, 79, of Annville, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Juanita L. (Shenk) Collins.

Born in Hanover, he was a son of the late Frederick and Doris (Graves) Collins.

James retired as an electrician with the Local #143 IBEW and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved his 1965 pickup truck and enjoyed taking it to local car shows. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, and was a hard worker in all things, especially caring for his yard. James also enjoyed pulling logs out of the woods with his tractor to cut, split, and burn in his fireplace.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Kevin Collins, Ryan Collins, and wife, Julia, and Jolene, wife of Weaver Kesler; nine grandchildren, Henry, Hugh, Cecelia, William, Benjamin, Tyler, Gavyn, David, and Molly; one brother, Ronald Collins, and wife, Brenda; and one sister, Barb, wife of David Hartman.

James was preceded in death by a sister, June Collins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 10 a.m. from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 8:30 a.m. until the time of his service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067, in his memory.
