James C. Snyder, 63, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 7, 2021. He was born on Friday, Sept. 13, 1957, to the late Harvey M and Jean F. (Werner) Snyder.
James was a graduate of Palmyra High School, class of 1975 and continued his education at Penn State University, class of 1980. He went on to establish, Snyder Forestry Consultants. James loved being outdoors, where he was either hunting or fishing. James had a love for his golden retrievers, Maggie and Kooper but most importantly he was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his daughter, Alyxandra (Dominic) Pavone, granddaughter, Charlotte Pavone, sisters, Kristie S. (Dominic) Cavallaro, and Wendy J. (Bernard) Beard, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Palm Lutheran Church, 11 W. Cherry St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A time of visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow at the Hershey Cemetery, Hershey.
