James E. “Jim” Youtz, 91, of Mechanicsburg, died on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Country Meadows of Mechanicsburg.

‘He was born on Sunday, December 28, 1930, to the late James A. Youtz and Emma L. Youtz nee Nauman in Lebanon.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and worked as a Lineman Chief for Met-Ed. Jim was a veteran of the Army in the Korean War and enjoyed Nascar, Penn State football, and bird watching.

Surviving are son Collin L. Youtz and spouse Victoria A.; grandchild Kristofer C. Youtz and spouse Dr. Abby White; great-grandchildren Toby T. Youtz, Ben T. Youtz, Theodore E. Youtz, Noah T. Youtz; brother Richard Youtz; sister Betty Youtz.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Youtz nee Ritter; son James H. Youtz.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman Street, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the church, with Masonic services starting at 10:50 AM. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
