James “Jim” Earl Kline, 77, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, at the Hershey Medical Center.
Jim was born in Annville, PA on June 26, 1943, to the late Robert and Grace Kline. He graduated from Annville High School in 1961. Jim married his wife, Karen K. (Wagner) Kline, on May 16, 1964, and they spent 56 happy years together in Lebanon. Jim retired from the Johnson and Johnson Company, after a long career in shipping and distribution.
Jim enjoyed the simple pleasures in life including spending time with family and friends, especially Saturday afternoons, paling around with his grandson, Ryan, and enjoying quiet time at home with his wife, Karen. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and a great friend to many. He will be remembered for his kind heart and a warm, hearty laugh that made everyone smile.
Throughout his life, some of Jim’s favorite pastimes included going to car shows, catching a movie in the theater, frequenting the arcade, going fishing, grabbing a Spicy Chicken Sandwich at Wendy’s, and playing Dr. Mario on the hardest setting (and never losing).
Jim is survived by his wife, Karen K. Kline, of Lebanon, PA, his daughter, Vickie (Nelson) Torres, of Lebanon, PA, and grandson, Ryan (Kathleen) Torres, of Doylestown, PA. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his brother, Harold.
Services and interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested at the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
