James F. Fiorentino, 73, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Michelle (Martel) Fiorentino, to whom he was married for 52 years. Born in Lebanon, PA, on Aug. 8, 1952, James was the son of the late John Fiorentino and Joanne (Chernich) Fiorentino.
Jim graduated from Cedar Crest High School and Lebanon Valley College before beginning a successful career with New Penn Trucking, where he served as a manager. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to serving his community. He was president of the Quittapahilla Audubon Society and a Scout Master, and volunteered his time at the senior center and along the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail.
A passionate birdwatcher and nature enthusiast, Jim traveled near and far at a chance to capture rare sightings, often planning trips around the migration patterns and seasonal appearances of specific birds. Whether exploring local trails or venturing farther from home, he found great joy in observing and appreciating the natural world.
An avid golfer, Jim especially enjoyed golfing in Myrtle Beach with his son and family, creating memories both on and off the course. During the fall, he could always be found cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, a tradition he followed with unwavering enthusiasm and loyalty.
Above all, Jim was devoted to his family. He treasured every opportunity to spend time with his grandsons, Emerson and Dominic, whether playing in the yard, doing yardwork and gardening, riding in the Gator, cooking up a favorite meal, or gathering around the table for games. Family time was always time well spent.
Jim also loved bringing people together through food. Friends and family could often find him behind the grill preparing his favorite wings, hot dogs, and burgers with perfectly grilled buns. He took special pride in cooking cherished Italian family recipes and traditions. Christmas Eve was one of his favorite celebrations and a gathering he hosted with great care and pride each year. He delighted in ensuring there was an abundance of family favorites, including stinky cheese and pepperoni, stuffed shells, and meatballs. Through these meals and traditions, Jim expressed his love for those closest to him and created memories that will be treasured for generations.
