James H. Frederick, 84, of Manheim, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at the Hershey Medical Center.

He was the husband of Reta S. (Kline) Frederick, to whom he was married 64 years on Dec. 1, 2020. Born in Allentown, PA on Feb. 11, 1936, he was the son of the late Paul L. and Nellie (Ritter) Frederick. A 1953 graduate of William Allen High School, of Allentown, James was a member of Faith Baptist Church, of Lebanon. He was employed as an industrial electrician at Ametek U.S. Gauge, of Sellersville, PA, for many years. James also worked for over 20 years at Thomas & Betts, Inc., of Montgomeryville, PA. He spent eight years in the Naval Reserve.

He is survived by daughters, Paulette, wife of Michael Landis, of Lebanon, Cheryl Ann, wife of Bruce Hunsberger, of Harleysville, son, James P., husband of Rebecca Frederick, of Murfreesboro, TN, eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Sallie Jane Weaver, of Kansas. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Alvin Weaver.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
