James L. “Jim” Zechman, Sr., 75, of Annville passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Deborah K. (Baker) Zechman with whom he celebrated 23 years with.
Jim was born in Pine Grove, on July 11, 1946, to the late Ralph and Anna (Ussner) Zechman.
He worked for Bethlehem Steel as a laborer, and then in the maintenance department at the Annville Post Office, Hershey Post Office, and the office of Steven P. Lynn. Jim enjoyed woodworking, doing work in the yard, flower gardening, building all types of projects, being outside, and collecting pheasants. He also loved his cat and dog, Sophie and Charlie.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Teresa Shuey-Zechman of Palmyra, James “Jim” Zechman, Jr. and his fiancé Carrie of Harrisburg, Tim Zechman and his wife Audrea of Palmyra, grandchildren, Michael, Austin, Connor, Easton, Trinity, Taran, and Logan and his siblings, Leon and Kenny Zechman, and sister Larue.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Zechman, and his brother, Ralph, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 3 PM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. There will be a visitation from 2 PM-3 PM at the funeral home.
