James R. Kane came in as a firecracker and left with a silent bang at the Lebanon VA Hospital.

He leaves behind his wife of 38 years; son, James; three step-daughters; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters; brothers; nieces; and nephews.

A special thank you to the staff at VA Hospice Unit 4-1B for excellent care and kindness.

Graveside services will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at 9 a.m. Friends and family are welcome.
