James R. “Ryan” Peters, 44, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah A. (Thompson) Peters.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on April 20, 1979, he was the son of the late James R. Peters Jr. and Melanie Boyer, of Annville.

James enjoyed being with friends and family, watching NFL football and the Miami Dolphins, watching sprint car racing, and archery hunting.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, is two stepsons, Tyler B. Sellers, husband of Samantha, of Hershey, and Dylan N. Sellers, of Chambersburg; his stepfather, Larry “Buzz” Beckey, husband of Jenna, of Annville; four grandchildren, Brexlee, Bruin, Braydlynn, and Liam Sellers; his nephew, Trevor Mount; and his dog and best friend, Astro.

James was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Peters.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, from 9:30-11 a.m., at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., on Friday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VA Lebanon Healthcare System, 1700 South Lincoln Ave., Building 18, Lebanon, PA 17042, in his memory.
