Janet Eleanor (Evans) Mann, aged ninety-four, passed away quietly in her sleep at 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 7th in the The Lebanon Valley Home, Annville, PA.
She was born in Cleona to the late Verna (Brandt) Herr and J. Edward Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Donald Eugene Mann, and by their daughter Susan Marie (Mann) Wolfgang, wife of Toby Wolfgang.
She is survived by daughters Laurie Lynn Mann-Carpenter, wife of Richard Carpenter, of Myerstown, Karen Louise Mann of Lebanon. Grandchildren Jaclyn, wife of Bill Sultzbach, Lititz; and Rev. Jeremy Mann, wife Jen of Bluffton, OH. She has four great-grandchildren Wyatt Sultzbach, and Waylon Sultzbach of Lititz, PA, Kaleb Mann, and Lucy Mann, of Bluffton, OH.
Janet graduated from Annville High School, class of 1949, and Bryn Mawr school of Nursing, class of 1952.
Janet worked as a registered nurse for 47 years. Her employment history includes the Good Samaritan Hospital, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Lebanon Internal Medicine. She served on the Board of Directors for Halcyon for 10 years and was an active member of Grace United Church of Christ, Lebanon.
She enjoyed volunteering at Hershey Park for 10 years, ceramics, reading, singing, and going to Fenwick Island, DE with her family.
The viewing will be held at Rohland’s Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. On Friday, March 13, 2026, a time of visitation will be held at Grace United Church of Christ, S. Fifth Avenue, Lebanon starting at 10 a.m. Her Celebration of Life service will begin at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Lebanon Valley Home, 550 E. Main Street, Annville, PA 17003 or to the MS Society, PO Box 91891, Washington, DC 20090-1891.
