Jared M. Reiber, 40, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024. He was the husband of Trisha L. (Erney) Reiber. They had celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in May.
Born in Harrisburg on Feb. 27, 1984, he was the son of Michael S. Reiber, husband of Michele Reiber, of Jonestown, and Christine M. (Thomas), wife of Raymond Critchfield, of Harrisburg.
Jared graduated from Northern Lebanon High School with the Class of 2002. He was an insurance adjuster with Erie Insurance. Jared enjoyed spending time with his family. If he was not wrestling his boys around in the living room, they were going for bike rides, dancing in the kitchen, playing video games, and snuggling at bedtime. He loved the beach and shared that love with his boys. He loved traveling with his family and enjoyed trying new things. Jared loved fishing, hunting, skeet shooting, smoking cigars, and taking four-wheeler rides with his boys. He was a proud father and was involved in coaching all his kids’ sports, including t-ball and soccer. He enjoyed cheering on his oldest at his cross-country and track and field events. Jared loved his wife and loved planning date nights on the rarity they could find a sitter. He was an amazing father and husband.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his sons, Tucker J. Reiber, Grayson H. Reiber, Lincoln M. Reiber, and Roman T. Reiber, all of Fredericksburg; and his sisters, Michaela K. Rankin and Jenna N. Reiber.
