Jean Faye (Werner) Snyder, 89, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Fry Village, Middletown.

She was born to the late Russell W. and Hilda June Felty-Werner. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey M. Snyder.

Jean was a lifetime member of the Palm Lutheran Church. Throughout her life, Jean enjoyed travel, reading, and dancing.  She was involved in numerous activities including the Quilting Group at church and the Mohler Center in Hershey. An avid football fan, Jean was always looking forward to watching Penn State.

Jean was a beautician in Palmyra for many years. Later in life, she liked her work helping children, as a library aid in the Lebanon City School District.

She is survived by her children: Kristie S. Cavallaro and husband Dominic of Harrisburg, Wendy Jo Beard and husband Bernard of Mount Gretna, and James C. Snyder of Palmyra; 5  grandchildren, Lauren C. Wicklund and husband Eli of Midlothian, VA, Benjamin D. Cavallaro and Zach Swartz of New Cumberland, PA, Ashley Beard Ross and husband Ryan, James Island of S.C., Matthew S. Beard and wife Amber of Palmyra, PA, Alyxandra Snyder Pavone and husband Dominic of Hershey; and 5 great grandchildren with one due in July, Sydney and Samatha Wicklund, Dax S. Ross, Mya and Mia Beard and Charlotte Pavone coming soon.

A private graveside service will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Palm Lutheran Church, Palmyra. The family would like to thank the staff at Frey Village and Grane Hospice for their compassionate care of Jean during her final days.
