Jean Jeanette Whitman, 94, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Whitman Sr., who passed away in 1998.
Jean was born in Lebanon on May 22, 1930, to the late Arthur and Irene (Wolfe) Dundore.
She was a homemaker and worked as a secretary for her husband’s insurance office. She was a member of Quentin UCC. Jean also enjoyed taking walks with friends and cooking and had worked at Boscov’s for many years.
Surviving are her children, Richard E. “Rich” Whitman Jr., of Elizabethtown, and Richelle J. “Ricki” Whitman, of Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by her sister, June Light.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
