Jean M. McMullan, 82, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.

Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Cyril Sr. and Sallie Highton Kalbach. She was the loving wife of James “Jim” McMullan Sr. for over 57 and a half years. Jean was a member of South Lebanon Community Church, formerly Midway Church of the Brethren. Jean proudly graduated from Lebanon High School before briefly working in the secretarial department at the Lebanon VA Hospital. She later became a homemaker to devote her life to her family. She had a love for gardening, especially planting roses. Quilting was another passion of Jean’s, and you could find her listening to an eclectic genre of music; she was particularly fond of Elvis.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, James “Jim,” are her sons, Thomas McMullan and James Jr., husband of Karen McMullan; and grandson, Garrett McMullan. Preceding her in death are her sister, Kathryn Miccicke, and brother, Cyril Kalbach Jr.
