Jean Wolford Wagner, formerly of Annville, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Columbia Cottage. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Wagner, who passed away in 2019.
Jean was born in Reading on Nov. 8, 1930, to the late Earl G. and Dorothy (Hicks) Wolford. She graduated from Oley Valley School and attended the Reading Business Institute. She was a medical assistant for Hershey Medical Center and Joseph Cardinale, D.O.
Jean was a member of Redeemer UCC in Hershey, PA. She was a member of Hershey Women’s Club and in the sorority of Reading Business Institute. While in church, she was on church consistory, in the choir, and taught Sunday School. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, reading, and playing Pinochle.
Jean is survived by her children, Larry E. Wagner and his wife Jane, of Hummelstown, Robert A. Wagner and his wife Sandra, of Hershey, Patti A. Wagner, of Palmyra, grandchildren, Thomas W. Wagner, Timothy D. Wagner, Cassandra E. Enders, Nicholas S. Wagner, Vanessa M. Achey, Kyle D. Ziegler, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher E. Wagner, granddaughter Amanda R. Ziegler, and a sister, June McKently.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. from Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. A viewing will be held from 12:00–1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
