Jeanette M. Spangler, 85, of Jonestown, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Alpine Nursing and Rehab, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Lester E. Spangler Jr.
Born in Lebanon on April 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Lilly May Brown Walmer.
Jeanette worked as a seamstress for the former Everite Knitting Mills. She loved to dance, and in her younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding.
She is survived by her son, Lester E. Spangler III, and his wife, Waneida, of Jonestown; sister, Catherine Church, of Fredericksburg; grandchildren, Jason Spangler and Jennifer Marie, wife of Michael Bixler; and great-grandchildren, Evin and Chase Bixler.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth and Donald Walmer.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
