Jeanette Mae Graves, 86, of Annville, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Londonderry Village. She was the wife of the late William E. Graves, who passed away in 2008.

Jeanette was born in Laurel, DE, on Aug. 26, 1937, to the late Elisha H. and Ethel Mae (Wharton) Truitt.

Jeanette was a beloved wife and mother and was known to everyone as MomMom. She enjoyed yard work but was more often in her kitchen cooking and baking for whoever stopped by to visit. Jeanette loved spending time with her family, especially on Sunday evenings around the kitchen table. MomMom G, as she came to be known by her great-grandchildren, made time to play games, read, and play outside.

Jeanette was a member of the Bellegrove U.M. Church and was a teacher in the children’s department for many years. Her faith was a very important part of her life, sustaining her through her long journey with dementia.

Surviving is her children, Deborah L. Bohr (Kenneth), William E. Graves Jr. (Kimberly), Alan E. Graves (Susan), and James P. Graves (Rita), all of Annville; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Everett Truitt, Evelyn Short, and Rose DeTondo, all of Delaware.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, William and David Truitt.
