Jeanette R. Adey, 90, of Palmyra passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was the widow of the late Paul K. Adey who passed away in 2007.
Born in Annville, on March 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Thomas S. and Violet E. (Huey) Houser. Jeanette was retired from the H.B. Reese Candy Company, where she had 29 ½ years of service. She was a member of Kochenderfer United Methodist Church in Lebanon. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and entertaining friends and family. Jeanette & Paul enjoyed traveling especially to AZ., they also loved to take cruises. Most of all she loved her family very deeply and they meant the world to her.
She is survived by her children; Thomas S. Adey and his wife Claudia of Tremont; Karen E. and husband Michael Garrison of Lebanon; Sandra L. and husband Scott Sudbury of Annville; and David M. Adey of Jonestown; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, William Houser, of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by a son Karl P. Adey, brother Richard E. Houser and sister Jo Ann Montgomery.
Private funeral services will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021, with final interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
