Jeffrey A. “Jeff” Wartluft, 62, of Myerstown, PA, died on Friday, June 19, 2026, at home. He was the husband of Tina M. (Althouse) Wartluft. They celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on June 10.

Born in Reading, PA, on Jan. 1, 1963, he was the son of the late Russell H. and Mildred G. (Rank) Wartluft. Jeff was a heavy equipment operator for H&K (Landis Deck). He was a member of the Little Swatara Beagle Club, Bethel Fire Company, Pine Grove Hook and Ladder, Pine Grove VFW Post 3432, Strausstown Road and Gun Club, and Mount Zion Fire Company. Jeff’s lifelong passion, which his dad introduced him to, was hunting and fishing. Jeff had a talent for being creative and finding ways to design things with imagination that were uniquely his own.

In addition to his wife, Tina, he is survived by his daughter, Dawn Urban, of Shinglehouse; sons, Jeffrey Wartluft, of Mount Aetna, and Joseph Hulse, of Newmanstown; sister, Kelly Kauffman, of Genesse; twin brother, Michael Wartluft, of Pine Grove; and grandchildren, Justin and Blake Urban, and Jackson and Caden Hulse. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Umbenhauer and Brian Wartluft.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 11 a.m., at the Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Stouchsburg.
