Jerome C. “Jerry” Lucey, 79, of Myerstown, died on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon. He was the wife of Barbara A. (Epler) Lucey.
Born in Albany, NY, on April 4, 1947, he was the son of the late Cornelius Lucey Jr. and the late Grace (Larkins) Lucey. He was a graduate of Albany High School. Jerry then served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He worked for Arkema for 31 years and retired as a supervisor. Jerry enjoyed woodworking and grass cutting.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Lucey, and her husband, John Cesario, of Maine, and Jessica Rhine, and her husband, Brandon, of Jonestown; son, Mark Lucey, and his wife, Paula, of Reading; sisters, Joanne Lord and Helen Lucey; brothers, Tom and Mike Lucey; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Richard Lucey.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at the Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A graveside service with military honors will follow the service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
