Jill T. Wenrich, 63, of Lebanon, PA, died on Dec. 2, 2025, at Carolyn’s House surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was the widow of George W. Wenrich, to whom she was married for 37 years.

Born in Lebanon on July 24, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Harold J. Trostle and Nancy S. Trostle of Lebanon. Jill graduated from Lebanon High School in 1980, Lebanon Valley College (B.S. in music education) in 1984, Pennsylvania State University (M. Ed in curriculum instruction) in 1997, and Pennsylvania State University (D. Ed in educational administration) in 2012.

Jill held many positions throughout her lifetime. She was the director of music at both Tabor UCC and St. Mark’s UCC in Lebanon, PA. She was also the first female director for the Keystone Band of Rehrersburg, PA.

Jill’s career in music education began in the Lebanon School District and continued in the Lower Dauphin School District. She continued in education as a principal and then curriculum director for the Mifflinburg Area School District, Mifflinburg, PA, and from there, moved to the Southwestern School District in Hanover, PA, as the assistant superintendent. Jill retired from the Jersey Shore Area School District, Jersey Shore, PA, as the superintendent of schools.

Throughout her career, Jill was a music adjudicator for the National Judges Association and, most recently, the Maryland Marching Band Association.

Jill held membership in the VFW Auxiliary, Lebanon, the American Legion Auxiliary, Hummelstown, the Moose, Middletown, and the Hershey Italian Lodge.

Surviving are her children, Chad Eric Wenrich, of Lebanon, and Christa W. Buchenauer, wife of Joel Buchenauer, of Hummelstown; grandchildren, Dekiah Joyce Stape, Liam Alexander Wenrich, Niko Atlas Wenrich, and Brooklyne Buchenauer; brother, Donald J. Trostle, husband of Nancy, of Lebanon; niece, Emily J. Haldeman; nephew, Kyle Trostle; and Craig Hocker, her life companion.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Beginning at 10:45 a.m., there will be an American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Service. Burial will take place in Grand View Memorial Park.
