Joan Elizabeth Polynone, 83, of Schaefferstown, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, in the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of George P. Polynone, Sr. with whom she was married to for 64 years.

Joan was born in Lancaster on July 28, 1937, the daughter of the late Robert and Josephine Kopp Snyder. She enjoyed going with her friends to Elvis Presley impersonator shows and playing cards and games. She loved going to the Delaware beach, where she went crabbing, clamming, fishing, and her dog Bruiser.

Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Jeffrey Polynone and wife Christine, Sherry Stohler; George Polynone, Jr. and wife Patti, Frederick Polynone, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Polynone and brother, Craig Snyder.

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in Clauser Funeral Home, 116 N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
