Joan K. Sheetz, 81, of Annville, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was born in Lebanon, PA, on June 4, 1942, to the late Alvah and Anna (Seabold) Tompkins.

Joan worked for and retired from the HB Reese Candy Company in Quality Assurance. She enjoyed photography, working with flowers in her gardens, traveling to the Outer Banks, and word searches. In her younger days, Joan enjoyed ceramics along with snowmobiling.

She is survived by her sons, Todd Sheetz (wife, Sharon), of Annville, and Brian Sheetz (wife, Vicki), of Palmyra; grandchildren, Trevor Sheetz (Danielle), and Nathan Sheetz (wife, Bryce); and sister, Nancy Sunderland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Tompkins, Larry Tompkins, Charlotte Light, Betty Hollinger, Carol Mariani, and Mary Ann Brandt.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held privately at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, PA.
