Joan L. Gibson, 86, of Orwigsburg, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Leroy E. Lehman, who passed away in 2004.

Joan was born in Lebanon on May 21, 1940, to the late Lloyd and Betty (Kohr) Kepley. She worked for 40-plus years for J. Landis Shoe Company in Palmyra and then worked in housekeeping for the United Christian Home. She was a member of Annville Church of the Brethren and, more recently, Unity Church of Palmyra. Joan enjoyed cooking and taking the dog for a walk. She loved her family and had a strong faith in God.

Surviving are her daughters, Tammy L. Montalvo, of Annville, and Sherry L. Krall, and her husband, Joseph, of Lebanon; grandchildren, Joseph, Alyssa, and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Jayden, Grayson, Gabby, and Bentley; and siblings, Richard E. Kepley, of Lebanon, Robert A. Kepley, of Palmyra, Jean Clark, and her husband, Clifford, of Lebanon, and Janice Shifflett, and her husband, Kenneth, of Jonestown. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Marie Lehman; and brother, Lloyd W. Kepley.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon. There will be a visitation from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
