Joan L. Madenford, 86, of Myerstown, PA, died on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

She was the wife of Charles Henry Madenford III, who died on March 20, 2006.

Born in Frystown, PA, on Jan. 22, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Luther W. and Helen (Dubbs) Schlappich.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Henry Madenford IV.

Final services are private at the convenience of the family.
