JoAnn V. Rager, 80, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021, in the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Roy E. “Rocket” Rager.

Born in Lebanon on December 27, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Sukic Wenzler. JoAnn worked at the Gemstone Store in the Lebanon Valley Mall, Hockley Glass and Cleaver Brooks. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association. She was an avid reader, loved to listen to music and dance.

Surviving are children, Dawn Schauer and husband Kenneth, of MD, Sandra Martz and husband Paul, of Gettysburg, PA, Eric Rager and wife Jennifer, of NJ and granddaughter, Margaret Haag, of CA.

She was preceded in death by an infant son and brother, Joseph “Butch” Wenzler.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon using CDC guidelines. Funeral service will be held privately with interment at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
