Joanne Ealy, 81, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lloyd D. Ealy, who passed away in 2011.

Joanne was born in Myerstown on Oct. 2, 1942, to the late Carl and Elizabeth (Heagy) Boyer.

She was a graduate of Myerstown High School. She was a florist at Layser’s Flowers. Joanne was a member of The Myerstown Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday School classes. She enjoyed working with arts and crafts, gardening, playing BINGO, playing with the chime choir, and participating in different activities like ceramic making, all while at Masonic Village.

Joanne is survived by her children, Lynnea Weaver (Bryan), of Myerstown, Lonna Lackey (Winston), of Lebanon, and Lorne Ealy, of Mt. Aetna; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Karen Eckert (Stanley).

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Berger and Nancy Miller.

A burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
