Joanne L. Houck, 71, of Palmyra, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital in Harrisburg. She was the wife of Randall L. Houck of Palmyra. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 7th.

Born in Lebanon on January 19, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lillian (Edris) Gibble.

Joanne attended Living Waters Chapel. She had her own cake decorating business called Joanne’s Cakes and also worked for Giant decorating cakes. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Jeremy D., husband of Laura Houck, of Camp Hill, daughters, Angela M. Rodriguez, of Harrisburg, Amy L., wife of Dave Rahn, of Lebanon, and Alyssa J. Young, of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Brandi, Tony, Jalyn, Ava, Arthur, Adrianna, Christopher, and Destiny; four great-grandchildren; brother, Tim Gibble, of Elizabethtown; and sisters, Barbara Wenzler, of Richland, Gloria Gaskin, of Conway, S.C., and Patricia Martin, of Fredericksburg.

She was preceded in death by her son, Randy L. Houck, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Living Waters Chapel, 1900 Jay St., Lebanon, PA 17046. There will be a viewing at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Frystown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Joanne may be made to her church.
