Joanne L. Kope, 70, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at the Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Edward L. Kope, Jr.

Born in Harrisburg, PA on Aug. 13, 1950, Joanne was a daughter of the late Wayne and Betty (Davies) Harper. She loved animals, especially her husky “Gracie.” She enjoyed gardening and was a volunteer for the Lebanon County Humane Society for many years.

Joanne is survived by three children, Kimberly Ann Tollen, Edward L. Kope, III, and Jennifer L. Wentzel; five grandchildren, Dalton Wentzel, Brandon Stacey, Rayn Meldrum, Dustin Kope, and Amanda Kope; and a brother, James Henry Harper. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Kope.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joanne’s name may be made to the Human Society of Lebanon County, 150 N.
