John C. Zimmerman, 64, of Lebanon passed away at his residence on Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was the husband of Lorna J. “Lori” (Bradford) Zimmerman, with whom he celebrated 42 years in marriage.

John was born in Lancaster on October 5, 1956, to the late Ralph and Ruth “Edna” (Crouse) Zimmerman. He was a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite. He was the Sales Manager of the HOG division at Northeast Agri System, and also an avid real estate investor. John was passionate about his family and his work was an incredibly hard-working man in every sense and influenced others in the most positive of ways. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s soccer games, golfing, exploring the less-traveled roads with his wife, and capturing sunrises and sunsets on the beach. He was the most loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who were honored to know him.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Jeremiah “Jeremy” Zimmerman and his wife Gia of Lebanon, grandchildren, Camilla, Evangeline, Beckett, and his sisters, Nancy Martin and Ruth Ann Graybill.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Myerstown United Church of Christ, 306 W. Main Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067.
